An ancient Roman Villa was chosen for the wedding; restored in 2004 this historic site is surrounded by country meadows and mountains and is adjacent to a Catalan Natural Reserve.
The Bride and Groom chose a theme based on the history of Cinema for the invitations. The Vintage cinema theme, rustic setting and the green of the surrounding countryside, inspired the design and decoration for the wedding. The seating chart guided each guest to their designated row and seat using cinema tickets.
Instead of using the typical wedding chair covers, each chair was designated with a hand-painted number corresponding to the number found on each guest’s ticket. The seat numbers, menu cards and buffet signs were designed in green tones using vintage paper. The wedding menu featured a made-to-order grill station.
The decoration of the entire hall featured various elements, from sack-cloth pathways between tables to green vintage jars for the floral center pieces on them. Even the stemware on the tables, also in green tones, reflected this central design detail.
