West meets East

“Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and your team for helping us put on the most amazing wedding we could have imagined. I know with the various weather issues it could not have been easy but you and your team were seamless, in particularly on Friday night moving everything inside so quickly and getting the bowl food going, and on Saturday moving the whole dinner inside. Please do provide our contact details to any potential future clients as we would be more than happy to speak to them and provide a strong recommendation. Thank you!"

Jema & Robert, London
Wedding, September 5-7th, 2014 - 175 guests

“Dear Sonia,
I just wanted to thank you on behalf of the C.. Family for all the hard work that you put into making the JL&R Wedding such a success. I loved working with you and also with all the florists, photographers, videographers, light and sound and caterers. Everyone really pulled together to ensure that a wonderful event was organised for all our guests to enjoy. At times it was very difficult to try and make the right decisions regarding setting up inside or outside, but I think that the right decisions were made during both events. It is amazing to see how the rain stayed away during the most important times of both the events, i.e. The Sangeet - During the drinks reception and canapes, the grand entrance, the KSpark performance, the performance of the friends and also that many people had all had dinner before it started to rain. The Wedding Reception - During the water reception, the Civil Ceremony, the drinks reception and canapés.  Everyone was blown over by how well Plan B was organised on Saturday at Bell Reco. Full credit goes to you and all the people you worked with to help with the set up inside in such a short period of time. if I know of anyone who would like to have a wedding in Barcelona, I will certainly recommend you and Yes I do to them. Fondest regards
Mrs C.”

Jemma and Robert met in London. Although Jemma's parents are Pakistani and Indian origin and Robert´s, English, the couple decided to celebrate their wedding in the city of Barcelona and its vicinity. The festivity lasted three days and three nights and was held during the month of September.

On Friday the colorful "Sangeet" took place. Both the celebration as music, gastronomy, decoration and attire of the guests left no doubt about the oriental origin of part of the new family. On Saturday, the ceremony was held in a completely different place followed by a traditional Western style wedding. On Sunday, in order to celebrate the farewell, a Brunch took place. For the team of Yes I Do it was like organising two weddings for the same customer. Decorations, venues, food, everything was radically different and yet kept the same guideline that were the couple, their tastes, interests and desires.
